St. Nicholas Dinner Feast in Washington DC
All children received a treat from Mikuláš!
Koledy/Christmas Carols were performed by Sokolik, students of the Czech and Slovak School, at 3:30 pm, and, for those of you anxiously awaiting Mikuláš, he arrived, with his entourage, at 3:45 pm!

For dinner enjoy a choice of jaternice (hash-and-crumbs sausages) or jelita/krvavnicky (black-pudding sausages) or klobásy with potatoes and sauerkraut, and kolác and coffee — all included in the price of the ticket.
Also, available for purchase was an assortment of drinks, Pilsner
Urquell, wine, and homemade pastries.
And, take home from our offering at the Bake Sale table homemade Slovak, Moravian and Czech koláče, strudels and Christmas cookies; and, as always, a surplus of traditional sausages were ordered and available for sale after all dinners had been served!
